Cooking Demonstration Mushroom Growing Demos Wild Mushroom Displays Books, Collectibles, Art Children’s Activities Wild Mushroom Identification
Admission to the Mushroom Fair (except for the Gary Lincoff lecture) is free with admission to the Arboretum* Events Keynote Speaker: Mycologist Gary Lincoff, the author or editor of several books and articles on mushrooms, including The Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms. Admission to the Gary Lincoff lecture will be by ticket ONLY. Tickets will be on sale at the Mushroom Fair. Admission to the lecture will be $10 per person with a 50% discount for LAMS members. Fair volunteers who sign up in advance will be admitted free. Mr. Lincoff's presentation is a benefit fundraiser for the Los Angeles Mycological Society. LAMS is a 501c(3) non-profit organization and ticket purchases are considered donations to LAMS and are therefore deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor.
We are pleased to announce that Nancy Silverton will be our guest chef. Nancy Silverton is the co-owner of Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, and Mozza2Go in Los Angeles, as well as Osteria Mozza and Pizzeria Mozza in Singapore. She is the founder of the La Brea Bakery and formerly co-owned and operated Campanile restaurant. She is the author of several books including Nancy Silverton's Sandwich Book, Nancy Silverton's Breads from the La Brea Bakery, Desserts, and most recently, The Mozza Cookbook.
Please note: It is strongly recommended that you plan to arrive at the Arboretum at least 30 minutes before any scheduled event you wish to attend. For the Nancy Silverton cooking demo and the Gary Lincoff presentation you should consider arriving 1 hour before the event. Questions about the Mushroom Fair? *Admission to the Arboretum is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (62 and over), $6 for students with ID, and $3 for children 5- 12. Children under 5 are admitted free. Arboretum members are admitted free. Parking is free. |
